Does Getting Veneers Hurt?

Dr. Anthony Mobasser discusses whether the process of getting veneers hurts.

Actually getting veneers is a painless procedure. However, I understand that there’s some people that they are worried about the sound of the hand piece, or they have anxiety sitting in a dentist chair.

For those patients, we usually recommend having my anesthesiologist come in and do a light sedation or iv sedation where they will get their veneers done without feeling anything.

As far as regular doing veneers, porcelain veneers, the procedure is very painless. You don’t feel a thing, everything is gonna be alright, there’s not much tooth structure removed, and you’ll be a happy patient.
